This is not specificially a Halloween craft but certainly fits the tone this time of the year. This crescent moon and bat kids' craft is appropriately for preschoolers (as long as they are not putting non-food items in their mouth) and older, but you should take note that there are a couple of waiting periods during this craft when paint and glue need time to dry before moving on. While the paint is drying, take advantage of the time by sharing dinner or a snack together or playing a board game. The glue takes a little bit longer for it to fully dry. You may even want to let it sit overnight and put it all together on day 2.

A craft doesn't have to be elaborate and take hours to be fun and turn out super cute! This easy fall kids' craft is one that your kiddo can make in about 15 minutes. Or they can decide to add more decorations and details and spend a little bit more time with this project. It is totally up to them. I am giving you a place to start here. What you do with it from there is totally up to you. Also, there is no rule saying that your jack-o-lantern has to be orange. If your kiddo's favorite color is purple, have at it! Really, just let them be themselves and create without boundaries. That is how learning and growing truly happens (not to mention fun)!

I think this may be the shortest post that I ever write. Don't take that as a sign that I don't care...because I care so much! It is my desire to see families crafting together. There are just so many benefits (if I need to convince you of that, check out THIS post). This is such a simple craft but fun to make and an amazing final result! You will absolutely love making this Halloween Monster Craft, and I have included a couple of tips to adapt it for any age group.

Around here, it is my mission to make crafting with your kids actually do-able. So many of the "kids' crafts" I see out there require several trips to Michael's and, let's be honest, could never actually be completed...
This is a quick, simple and fun kids' craft that takes very few supplies from your bag but leaves room for loads of imagination. My favorite crafts are the ones that don't require many step by step instructions because you get to make them YOUR way! And, this as you know, is a priority for most little ones. I think the first sentence my boys learned was "I do it". So, be careful not to take over. Once the beanie is formed, there is really no wrong way to do this craft. Let your kids be kids.

It's one of those holidays again where the whole family gathers for a barbeque! I love those lazy summer days...and the food that goes with it. This craft was inspired by my love of BBQ. Have you ever had something that every time you looked at it you couldn't help but smile? This Dancing Hot Dog on a BBQ is just like that! Your kids will love making it and then enjoy entertaining each other and the rest of the family with it too. Great Uncle Bob is going to be in stitches at your next picnic!
