Fun Facts About…
- Leprechauns come from Irish stories. They’re tiny fairy shoemakers who love gold and hide it at the end of a rainbow ?
- Everything turns green. People wear green on St. Patrick’s Day because it’s Ireland’s national color—and legend says wearing green makes you invisible to sneaky leprechauns!
- The shamrock is special. St. Patrick used the three leaves of the shamrock to explain an idea, which is why shamrocks are a symbol of the holiday.
