Step-by-step Instructions:

Step 1: Use the Free Printable Template

  • Download the gummy bear craft template
  • Choose a color of gummy bear to create
  • Print the front and back of that gummy bear onto the coordinating colored construction paper. Use colored ink when printing.

Step 2: Cut Out the Gummy Bear

  • Cut out the front and back of the gummy bear craft that you printed out.

Step 3: Staple Around the Outside

  • Sandwich the front and back of your gummy bear together.
  • Use the stapler to staple all around the outside of the gummy bear, leaving about a five inch section open on the bottom. Keep the staples close together.

Step 4: Stuff It With Newspaper

  • Tear strips of newspaper and ball them up.
  • Place the balls of newspaper, one at a time, into the opening at the bottom of your gummy bear craft.
  • Use a blunt pencil or chopstick to puch the paper up into the top of your paper craft.
  • Keep place the newspaper filling until your gummy bear is puffy but not overfilled.

Step 5: Close Up the Bear Craft

  • Pinch the opening closed
  • Use your stapler to secure it and close it up.
