This Humpty Dumpty craft is the perfect thing to pair with story telling and singing for an entire experience with your kids…creating memories. This nursery rhyme has always led to more questions, as far as I’m concerned, but maybe it’s just for fun. Let’s keep Humpty on the wall and tell his story.

And if you like making this Humpty Dumpty, you’re also going to love making this Cow Jumps Over the Moon craft, this set of Princess and the Frog crafts and this Curious George craft.

I’ve witnessed kids struggle to complete multi-step activities. So, I came up with this brilliant craft page(if I do say myself) way to break down crafts into bite-sized pieces with easy tutorials.

These are especially perfect for those kiddos who have limited attention spans.

Crafts are such a great developmental tool for kids (improves motor planning, attention span, executive functioning, fine motor skills, language development and more), and using our in the bag system makes planning crafts for your kids to enjoy even easier.

Just print out a few of your favorites crafts, get your craft supply bag (which you can fill using our master list of supplies that we stick to for every single one of the projects in the flashcard collection). It’s so simple.

And the best part is that there’s not a screen in sight. Technology is such a great thing, but it’s also nice to take a break from it once in awhile and let the brain explore in other ways.

The Humpty Dumpty Lyrics and More

There are differing views on who “Humpty Dumpty” actually represents, but he is depicted as an egg in fairy tales. We first see him as an egg in the novel “Through the Looking Glass” by Lewis Carroll in 1872.

The lyrics for the famous poem go like this…

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men
couldn’t put Humpty together again.

Humpty Craft Option 2

Manipulating the paper bag can be a little bit challenging. You can choose to assist with these steps, or you can go a slightly simpler route by using the egg template instead. It’s included with your Humpty Dumpty craft templates. Anywhere in the instructions where the paper bag is used, replace it with the flat cut out egg that you can cut using the template.
